My cat purrs but flicks her tail?

My cat is a tabby and she purrs alot! like as soon as you start petting her she starts to purr but she also flicks her tail at the same time? i dont know if she likes being pet or shes mad? Also she also has this look on her face like shes glaring at you or something but that could just be her markings.
