Question about siamese cat?

hello...i have a kitty that has all the markings of a siamese cat and very blue eyes. But I know her mom was a complete black cat with yellow eyes. Is my kitty still consider a siamese or does she needs both parents to be siamese to be a real siamese? Her coat is also getting darker...and she definitely behaves as a siamese..the smarter and more social cat I've ever had...
