Cannot access the Mann Co. Store TF2?

Whenever I try to access the store it says i need to enable steam in-game, but I have already activated both areas in which steam in-game should be activated. Why does it still say i need to enable it? I've also re-downloaded TF2 and still nothing. I'm playing on a mac if that makes a difference.
