Will my kitten lose his markings?

many times cats don't look the same as they did when they were kittens. the lines could become darker or lighter. it's not really something you can predict, since most cats are just a general domestic shorthair there is no distinct way the colors come and go. my cat is a lot darker then she was when she was a kitten. she barley had any stripes and was just a light tan little fluff ball. now she is tan with dark and light stripes and spots. it'll just be a waiting game to see!
