Series 1953 B was printed in the late '50s to early '60s, with the 1963 series coming next. With writing on it (as well as some folds from being used as money, probably), it's not going to be of much interest to a collector. Enough of these notes exist in unused condition to satisfy collector demand. Without the writing, which is viewed as damage, it might go for as much as $5 in lightly used condition. If you can find someone who'll pay $3, take it.
